NPORS Traditional Card- Is designed for those who operate in industry sectors other than construction and therefore are not subject to the requirement to hold an operator card bearing the CSCS logo. The standards applied to this route and the methods of achievement are exactly the same as those applied to the NPORS/CSCS operator card route.
NPORS Trained Operator Card- Issued to operators who do not currently hold the requisite (S)NVQ. This card is valid for two years, during which the operator must register for and achieve the requisite (S)NVQ.
NPORS Competent Operator Card- Issued to operators who hold the requisite (S)NVQ. This card is valid for five years and includes a CPD record/operator logbook.

It is issued in line with the requirements stipulated by the Construction Leadership Council (CLC) and displays the CSCS logo.
